PROGRAMME NAME: ELE SPANISH BASIC LEVEL
Duration of the programme: 45 hours – 4 school weeks
Review:
This subject is mainly theoretical in terms of lexical and grammatical knowledge of Spanish language,
but puts a strong emphasis in oral practice, in a context that provides a first approach to Spanish
language through the knowledge of local culture.
Topics:
- Spanish grammar and vocabulary, basic level – Spanish phonetics, basic level – Socio-cultural immersion:
public and private sphere.
PROGRAMME NAME: ELE SPANISH INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Review:
This programme has been designed on the basis of core topics and artistic, cultural and recreational
activities that will give life to it and will be conceptual markers for the Spanish programme in different learning dimensions.
Topics :
- Spanish grammar and vocabulary, intermediate level – Spanish phonetics, intermediate level. - Socio-cultural immersion: public, private and professional/educational sphere
PROGRAMME NAME: ELE SPANISH ADVANCED LEVEL
Review:
This programme has been designed on the basis of the practice of Spanish language in a university context, emphasizing linguistic aspects required in different academic situations.
It is worth to mention that these academic situations will always ensure deepening the knowledge of grammatical, phonetic and socio-cultural aspects of Chile.
Topics:
- Written communication in the academic sphere – Oral communication in the academic sphere.
Dates: Monday to Thursday.
Duration: 4 weeks, 45 intensive hours.
FIRST PERIOD: APRIL - MAY - JUNE
SECOND PERIOD: SEPTEMBER - OCTOBER - NOVEMBER
THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES 3 TOURS THAT REPRESENT OUR SOUTHAMERICAN IDENTITY

COST : $3.000 EUROS
INCLUDES:
Permanent accommodation in Viña del Mar, in twin or triple rooms including breakfast, located in a tourist area by the sea (Avenida San Martín) only a few steps from the casino and city restaurants.
<Reception at the Airport and transportation to Viña del Mar.
<Travel Insurance Assist Card (two month stay).
<Breakfast and tastings on weekend tours.
<Ground transportation included in every scheduled tour.
Does not include:
Meals.
Air tickets, national or international.
Local transportation outside the tours.

Tours and services included in the programme:
One month stay in Viña del Mar, Chile.
1) Southern area (lakes and volcanoes region) Adventure tourism activities in the volcanic town Pucón, visits to Mapuche families, gourmet tastings of Mapuche food, all-day trips to lakes and volcanoes of the area. Natural hot springs, Rafting and Trekking for beginners. Optional all-day visit to San Martín de Los Andes, Argentina.
2) Central area, travelling through Valparaíso region (world heritage city) and its harbour area. Regional tour up to Los Andes, and weekend in Mendoza, Argentina (mid-season). In Winter we offer an all-day visit to Valle Nevado Ski Centre (Ski
lessons included).
3) Northern Area: Trip through Valle del Elqui, vineyards, astronomical observatory, archeo-astronomical cultural activity. Trip to rustic towns and the house of Nobel Prize in Literature, Gabriela Mistral. Boat trip through the coast of Coquimbo and La Serena.
